Lorenzo Baldassarri first started in the Italian Minibike Championship in 2004, before heading to the national MiniGP 50cc Metrakit championship in 2007, which he won. 2008 then saw him taking part in the Mediterraneo Spanish Championship Challenger 80cc Metrakit class where he came eighth, and in 2010 he competed in the Pre GP 125cc Catalan Championship where he was runner-up. 2011 proved to be a great year for Baldassarri, as he won the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies cup, taking two wins and six podiums along the way. In 2012, he came eighth in the Spanish CEV Bucker Moto3 Championship.
He made his World Championship debut in 2013; his best result of the year was 17th at Motegi.
Baldassarri moved to Moto 2 in 2014, after adapting to the new bike he was able to end in the Top10 at the end of the season. In 2015 he joined Forward Racing still in Moto2 and his results steadily improved reaching his first career podium in Australia and consistently fighting for the Top5 in the second part of the season. He stayed with Forward Racing in Moto2 to further improve his results. At his home race in Mugello Baldassarri narrowly missed out on his first win and came home second. At his second home round in Misano he was finally able to celebrate his career first win in Moto2 and wants to be a serious contender in the title fight with Forward Racing in 2017.

Luca Marini was born in Urbino, Italy, on the 10th of August 1997 and he currently lives in Tavullia (Pesaro), he is attending the last year of High School at Liceo G. Marconi in Pesaro. His debut in motorcycling racing was in CIV Moto3 and h e concluded the 2013 season in fourth place with six podiums. In the same year he got his first wildcard to race the Misano round of the World Championship in Moto3. Luca still raced another season in the same category, this time in CEV championship before moving to the Moto2 European Championship finishing in fifth place overall. In 2015 he also got a new wildcard for Misano, which gave him this time the opportunity to close the race in 21th position.
In 2016 Luca will made a step forward by competing permanently in the Moto2 world championship with Forward Racing. Luca is a member of the VR46 Riders Academy; he often trains at the “Ranch” with his step-brother Valentino Rossi, who acts as teacher, and the other young Academy riders such as his teammate Lorenzo Baldassarri. He started his first season on world championship level with a Top10 result in Qatar. He steadily learned and improved with a sixth place at the German GP as his best result during his debut season. In 2017 he wants to improve further, staying with Forward Racing.
